The Spell Welders soundtrack was developed over 4 years in Famitracker. It was my goal to try and do something new with chiptune music as I found the style generally boring and knew it would be my last attempt to try and break out of the mold.

I think some of the early tracks like Dark, Damp, and Creepy and Cura Ludare sound more like standard chiptune music, but the later ones like Rebel Sands and You are No Chump really hit the mood I was searching for.
